Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)
1. What makes Dr Kris and the INFH approach different?
Rather than focusing only on symptoms, Dr Kris looks at how the brain, nervous system and body are functioning together.
Using real-time neurological and functional testing, he identifies patterns that may be contributing to dysfunction, connects the pieces and uses your responses to guide an individualised approach.
2. I’ve tried everything — how could this be different?
Sometimes the next step isn’t another treatment — it’s looking at the problem differently.
Dr Kris uses real-time testing to explore how your system is functioning and adapting, helping uncover patterns or contributing factors that may have been missed. Your response then helps determine what happens next.
3. What can I expect in my first session?
Your first session explores your history, current concerns and goals, followed by neurological and functional assessment.
Dr Kris then uses what your system is showing to determine where to start, with ongoing testing and reassessment guiding the session.
4. What if I’m not sure whether Dr Kris can help?
That’s completely ok. Your initial consultation is designed to determine whether Dr Kris and the INFH approach are appropriate for you.
If another form of assessment or healthcare would be more suitable, this can be discussed with you.
5. Is INFH only for people in pain?
No. Clients may also seek support for movement, balance, coordination, recovery, nervous system regulation, emotional issues, body awareness and performance.
The focus is on helping the brain, nervous system and body function and adapt more effectively.
6. Is the approach hands-on, movement-based or neurological?
It can be all three.
Depending on what your assessment reveals, Dr Kris may draw from neurological, sensory-motor, reflex, cranial nerve, movement, emotional, postural, myofascial, craniosacral and mind-body approaches.
Rather than choosing a technique first, the assessment helps determine what your system may need.
7. Do I need a diagnosis or referral?
No. You can book directly with Dr Kris without a diagnosis or referral.
INFH can also complement care from your doctor, specialist or other healthcare professionals, and appropriate medical care should continue where required.
8. How many sessions will I need?
There is no predetermined number. It depends on your presentation, goals and how your system responds
Some people notice changes quickly, while complex or long-standing patterns may require a more progressive approach.
9. What should I bring and wear?
Bring any relevant reports, scans or test results you have, and wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move easily.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before you arrive — helping make sense of the bigger picture is part of the process.
